About Me
My name is Madison Henderson, and I'm from Madison, MS and currently live in Brandon, MS. I graduated from Mississippi State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a minor in Marketing. I have been in the social media industry since 2018.
When I first got to Mississippi State, I was really unsure of what I wanted to major in. Fast forward to junior year, I decided I wanted to pursue marketing, but I needed experience to make sure that's what I wanted to pursue as a career.

My senior year I became a Bumble Campus Rep, and I eventually became the Campus Director. My team and I promoted the dating app through social media and hosted events to help drive more students to use the app. That same year, I started a marketing internship with the Mississippi State Athletic Department. I worked volleyball games, and I helped manage the Bully Kid's Club twitter account. If you know me, you know I LOVE MSU sports, but throughout the internship, I realized sports marketing was not the career path I wanted to pursue. Also if you know me, you know I'm obsessed with social media, and once I saw that it can used as a very beneficial tool business wise, that's when I decided I wanted to pursue social media professionally.

Right after graduating from Mississippi State in May of 2019, I got offered a job at The Vista Apartments in Starkville, MS as the Leasing and Marketing Specialist. My job included doing social media and marketing to help drive more leases. I wasn't ready to leave Starkville yet and had friends who worked there, so it was the perfect opportunity. After a little over a year there, I decided to leave Starkville to move back to Jackson.

I got offered a job by a roofing company in Pearl, MS called Complete Exteriors as the Digital Media/Customer Relationship Manager to do social media, assist in marketing, and customer relations. After about a year and a half there and learning so much more about business and marketing, it was time to pursue my dream of having my own client base, becoming a social media manager, and starting Socially JXN.
